The 2025 edition of the Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), taking place from February 3 to 5, 2025, will expand to occupy two halls at the Fira Barcelona exhibition center. This expansion increases the event's footprint by approximately 30% and accommodates 15% more exhibitors.

According to exhibition director Celine Pérez, the increased demand from exhibitors prompted this growth. "Growth was not an end in itself," she is quoted as saying in a press release. The event will welcome around 1,100 exhibitors and is already about 90% booked. The program will focus on heritage vineyards, presenting old vines as a historical legacy, accompanied by tastings and professional lectures.

In addition to the larger space, the list of invited international guests will also grow. The goal is to invite 700 buyers from strategically important markets, such as Germany, an increase from the 650 invited in 2024. MS
