In 2025, the fair will focus on online tickets: These are available in the online shop at www.prowein.de. There will still be a ticket counter on-site, but tickets will cost €10 more than online.

  • Day ticket: Online: €50 On-site: €60
  • 3-day ticket: Online: €80 On-site: €90
  • Discounted day ticket*: Online: €20
  • Discounted 3-day ticket*: Online: €38

*(Vocational school students/college students from 16 years of age after successful legitimization). Companions of persons with disabilities (with B or H in the ID card) have free admission.

For travel to and from the event using public transport, a ticket must be purchased. Unlike in the past, Messe Düsseldorf admission tickets no longer include free travel to and from the venue by public transport. Bus and train travel is possible via the eezy tariff using the check-in/check-out principle. Wi-Fi:

All visitor e-tickets include one day of free Wi-Fi access with 2 Mbps bandwidth and 1 GB data volume.

Premium Wi-Fi Tickets (10 Mbps bandwidth, volume flat rate):

  • Voucher 60 minutes: €6
    60 minutes: usage can be spread over the entire duration of the fair, a logout is necessary.
     
  • Voucher 1 day: €35
    After activation, the Wi-Fi code is valid until midnight of the same day (not 24 hours).
     
  • Voucher 3 days: €79
    As 1 day, the days do not have to be consecutive.

There is a ProWein Guide – a smaller version of the catalog. This Visitor Guide is available free of charge at all entrances.

ProWein mobile:

The prowein.de website is responsive and can also be used on smartphones and tablets. In addition to the "Messe Düsseldorf App," the fair offers a special "ProWein App." It is available free of charge in German and English and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. It offers offline search, an interactive hall plan, event search, fair and exhibitor news, etc.

How to get to ProWein

Public transport

The Rheinbahn in Düsseldorf is part of the Rhine-Ruhr public transport network (VRR).

The Main Train Station and Heinrich Heine Allee/Wilhelm Marx Haus are important transfer points in Düsseldorf.

The tram lines U78 Merkur Spiel Arena/Messe North and U79 Messe East (Exit: Messe East/Stockumer Kirchstr.) and Bus 722 (Exit: Messe East or Messe South/CCD) take you directly to the fair. During the Trade Fair, the Rheinbahn also offers the airport Shuttlebus 896.

Please Note: Admission tickets to the Messe Düsseldorf are no longer valid for public transport. Via the free app, www.mehr-rheinbahn.de/eezy, bus and train tickets can be downloaded on your mobile phone, on a check in/check out principle.

For smartphones with Android and iOS, the Rheinbahn offers an app (“Rheinbahn-Fahrplanauskunft”), the VRR offers the “VRR App Fahrplanauskunft” for Android and iOS.

The apps offer a bus stop and train station search, timetables and a departure monitor. For information: www.vrr.de.

By plane

Düsseldorf International Airport is just three kilometers from the events grounds. There is a Messe Düsseldorf Info Counter in the waiting area.

Trip to the Fair

  • Bus Line 896: approx. 10 Min
  • The buses leave every 15 minutes, from 7.30 am until 19.12 pm

By train

Main Train Station (Konrad Adenauer Platz), centrally situated in the City Centre: During the trade fair, buses and the underground traverse between the Main Train Station and the Messe grounds, at frequent intervals.

Trip to the fair

  • Underground: Lines U78 and U79, approx. 20 min.
    When the trade fair closes, waiting times of up to 30 minutes must be reckoned with.
  • Bus: Line 722, approx. 25 min

By taxi

  • Airport – Messe: approx. 10 min / €20
  • Main Train Station – Messe: approx. 12 min / €21
  • It might take longer if there is a lot of traffic. When the trade fair closes, long waiting times can be expected at the taxi stands.

With a caravan/camper 

The Messe Düsseldorf offers 800 caravan sites with a power supply, between the exhibition grounds and the motorway. The price per day is €35 (incl. electricity); payment is made by debit or credit card, at an automated payment point. This must be done between 8 am and 4 pm.

The caravan centre is a short five-minute walk from the Messe grounds. There is also a shuttle available all day.

Low emission zone

A low emission zone, which covers a large part of the city, has been introduced in Düsseldorf and only vehicles with a green environmental badge are permitted to enter. The Messe Düsseldorf itself and the signposted access routes are outside the environmental zone.
