The 30th generation currently consists of Lamberto, Tiziana, and Diana Frescobaldi as well as Stefano Benini (export manager) and brothers Ferdinando, Leonardo, and Vittorio, who are responsible for the biggest wineproducing operation in Tuscany and one of the most important in Italy. Tuscan tradition is a family value. It was not until the year 2000 that the company purchased a vineyard outside of the Tuscany region, the vineyard Attems in the Collio region. In Tuscany as well as adjoining regions, several vineyards with a total vineyard area of approximately 1,200 hectares belong to the family, each unique and distinct in terms of their wines: Castello di Pomino with vineyards to an altitude of 750 metres; the famous Castello di Nipozzano (300 hectares under vines), where outstanding red wines such as the Montesodi are produced; Castel Giocondo close to Montalcino, where first-rate Brunello wines are made; Tenuta di Castiglioni located southwest of Florence, where the history of winegrowing started with the Frescobaldis; Tenuta dell‘ Ammiraglia in the Maremma region with its modern architecture; and the Santa Maria (Morellino di Scansano) as well as Costa di Nugola close to Livorno.
