An Expert in Wine Tourism and Digital Strategies Appointed to Head Navarra

DO Navarra appoints Puy Trigueros, a marketing specialist, as Managing Director.

The Regulatory Council of DO Navarra has announced the appointment of Puy Trigueros as its new Managing Director. “My goal is to enhance our marketing strategy to promote our wines on the global stage. I plan to leverage my expertise in digital marketing, new technologies, and wine tourism to explore new distribution opportunities and strengthen the emotional connection with DO Navarra. This approach is essential to increasing the value and prestige of our brand,” Trigueros stated upon assuming her new role.

An expert in marketing and wine tourism, Trigueros has focused her career on key areas such as digital marketing, team leadership, innovation, and project development. She previously worked for organizations such as Turismo de Navarra and La Rioja Turismo.

Originally from Bilbao, Trigueros has lived in Navarra for several years and holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of the Basque Country.

DO Navarra currently encompasses 84 producers and 1,600 winegrowers who manage more than 9,000 ha/ 22,000 ac of vineyards. The Regulatory Council oversees the designation of origin, issues quality and guarantee certifications, and promotes the Navarra brand in both domestic and international markets. MS
