As announced by the company on December 16, 2024, the Vranken-Pommery Monopole group is restructuring its leadership to separate the roles of Chairman of the Board and Group CEO. Until now, Paul-François Vranken held both positions.
Starting January 1, 2025, the 77-year-old will remain Chairman, while his role as CEO will be taken over by his 17 years younger wife, Nathalie Vranken, who has been his deputy. Clément Pierlot and Julien Lonneux will serve as her deputies.
Nathalie Vranken, who was previously responsible for marketing and served as Deputy CEO since 2022, will now take over as CEO.
Clément Pierlot joined the group in 2004 as Director of Vignobles Champenois. He took responsibility for oenological development, was appointed Chef de Cave in 2017, and became General Director of Production in 2022. He also represents Vranken-Pommery Monopole at Comité Champagne and other bodies.
Julien Lonneux joined the company in 2014, initially overseeing the markets in Northern and Eastern Europe, and later expanded his responsibilities to include all of Europe and Africa. In 2018, he was appointed International Director of the group and simultaneously took charge of the UK subsidiary, Vranken Pommery UK.
"It is with honor and enthusiasm that I accept these responsibilities, and I warmly thank the members of the Board of Directors and our Chairman for the trust they place in me by appointing me as CEO of the Group. With Clément Pierlot and Julien Lonneux alongside me in General Management, our Group is built on solid foundations and possesses great development potential. We are convinced that, thanks to the trust of our teams, all our shareholders, and our collective work, we will continue to write our history with ever greater excellence," says Nathalie Vranken.
