The third Thursday of November is traditionally reserved for celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau. This year, Grand Chais de France (GCF) is standing out with a unique innovation — the new vintage from Maison François Martenot is being presented in a soft drink-style bottle with a swing-top closure. This design allows consumers to open the wine with a distinctive "pop" sound and reseal it as needed.

For the retail market, GCF's Moillard brand is offering a vibrant label aimed at attracting a younger audience. Meanwhile, in the gastronomy and on-trade sectors, a more traditional label from Compagnie Beaujolaise will be used. The new vintage complements the existing Fil de Fer (Wire) varietal line, named after the wire frame on the bottle. PD
