Robert Joseph, editorial consultant for Meininger’s Wine Business International, has been awarded the Innovation Award by Vinventions, for his contributions to the industry over many years.
He was one of a number of people whose work was highlighted by the Born Digital Wine Awards with Vinventions, which was announced on Monday, 15 April 2019. The awards recognises digital wine content, and is the only international competition where creators can submit work in languages other than English.
The awards, which closed in January, attracted a 20% increase in entries from previous years, including many German and French entries.
“What’s exciting about these awards is that it evolves and moves to keep pace with how we are all now creating, communicating and sharing content online,” said Richard Siddle, Chair of the awards, noting that the categories of the award keep changing, in line with changes in the digital world.
Ilkka Sirén, who contributes to Meininger's, won the award for Best Tourism Content With A Focus on Wine.
