Spain

Due to historically low harvests, rosé wine is almost sold out in the Spanish bulk wine market, and white wines are also more than scarce. While Iberian red wine prices are slowly decreasing due to global sales issues, white wine prices remain stable, and in some cases, are even rising. However, a largely normal volume is expected for the upcoming harvest. Except for the very dry Catalonia, there were Easter rains in almost all regions, reducing the pressure of the severe drought pressure for now.

France and Italy

The poor availability of Spanish (and also Italian) white wines is making southern French Vin de France without varietal indication a highly sought-after commodity – prices here are likely to increase significantly soon. Domestic buyers, who typically source Spanish bulk wine, are now turning elsewhere. A very sluggish market and no price changes, on the other hand, are reported from Italy.
