Following South Africa, which became the first country last month to have its new vintage listed by bulk wine brokers at Ciatti — with prices already showing signs of stabilization — Chile is now entering the scene.

For vintage 2025, prices are in some cases notably higher than those of 2024, particularly for white wines. The reason: the harvest, which is still ongoing, is expected to come in around 25% below the average yield. Buyers of cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc are now paying roughly €0.20 more per liter than before.

Meanwhile, bulk wine brokers have introduced a new category for generic Chilean wines without a vintage: “Decolored white”, currently listed at €0.48–0.51 per liter.
