Freixenet Gratien, the French subsidiary of the Henkell-Freixenet Group, has appointed Katy Murarotto as Managing Director, effective July 1, 2024. She succeeds Olivier Dupré, who led the company for nearly 11 years. Murarotto, who holds an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, previously worked as a trader on the New York Stock Exchange and has held leadership positions at KPMG, the World Bank, and Coca-Cola. Most recently, she managed Asahi’s French operations from Prague. Her task will be to continue driving the growth of Freixenet Gratien and to strengthen the company's leading position in the AOP sparkling wine market in France.

Freixenet Gratien’s brand portfolio includes Freixenet, Mionetto, Festillant, and Gratien Meyer. In addition, the company has established a strong presence in the Bordeaux range with the brands Yvecourt and Premius, as well as a series of exclusive châteaux. According to the industry magazine Rayon Boissons, Freixenet Gratien sold 13.2m bottles in 2023, generating sales of nearly €74m. SP
