The largest producer of Manzanilla sherry, La Guita, once part of M. Gil Luque and Hijos de Rainera Pérez Marín, has just been acquired by Grupo José Estévez from Jerez. Included in the acquisition are 15,000 vats containing
80,000 hectolitres of sherry, brandy and vinegar.
