The ProWein Business Talk format enters its second round. As announced by Messe Düsseldorf, the results of the ProWein Business Report will be discussed during an online event on January 14, 2025, at 2:00 pm. The focus will primarily be on marketing topics but also on regulations – particularly regarding the category of non-alcoholic and low-alcohol wines.
The panel will feature various industry experts, including Piero Mastroberardino, Vice President of Federvini, winery owner, and expert in premium wine marketing, as well as Maren Lahm, Marketing Director at Henkell Freixenet Germany. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Simone Loose from Geisenheim University, a leading expert in wine economics and marketing.
Anyone interested in participating in the Business Talk can register by emailing Christiane Schorn at schornc@messe-duesseldorf.de.
Deep Dive at Meininger’s Wine Conference
For those wanting to delve even deeper into the future of wine sales, March 15, 2025, should be marked on the calendar. On this day, supported by ProWein, Meininger’s Wine Conference will take place at Hotel Kö59 in Düsseldorf. Prof. Dr. Simone Loose will also be present and deliver a keynote on the topic: “Shifting Dynamics: Will Emerging Markets Compensate for the Decline in Established Ones?” The central question is whether potential growth markets such as India or Brazil can offset the medium- to long-term decline in wine consumption in established markets like Europe and the USA.
To not miss the most important conference of the year for decision-makers in the wine industry, tickets can be purchased with a 10% early bird discount until January 31, 2025. The ticket link, the full conference program, and a review of last year’s Wine Conference can be found online.
