Viña Concha y Toro released its financial report for the 2024 fiscal year on March 10th, as announced. The company confirms its previously estimated 14.5% increase in sales, reaching 958.6 bn Chilean Pesos ($1.03bn).
The EBITDA margin increased by 440 basis points to 15.8%, representing a 79.5% rise in earnings. This improvement is partly attributed to the efficiency enhancement and process optimization plan implemented in 2022, which has so far resulted in savings of 20.237 bn Pesos (approx. US$22.5m).
In the fourth quarter of 2024, Concha y Toro achieved a 9.1% increase in revenue and a 4.7% rise in sales volume. The wine segment recorded a 4.1% increase in sales volume over the course of the year. Concha y Toro's CEO Eduardo Guilisasti emphasizes that "all of the company's key markets experienced significant expansion, which underscores the strength of the extensive international distribution network with 12 subsidiaries." In particular, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the USA each achieved double-digit growth.
Within the wine segment, the Casillero del Diablo brand saw particularly strong growth (+19.8% in revenue), and the Argentinian subsidiary brand Trivento also grew by 9.5% in revenue.
