Enjoy Romanian wines, most of them belonging to the DOC and IGP quality family that became increasingly known on the international wine market and are highly appreciated by the consumers, such as the native varieties: Feteasca Neagra, Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Alba, Cramposie, Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Babeasca Neagra, Busuioaca and Zghihara or the international ones: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Syrah, Gewürztraminer, Muscat Ottonel.

On this occasion, at ProWein 2023, the visitors will have the chance to meet the winemakers of companies located in the country’s best wine regions.

Noteworthy is the fact that 8 of 13 wineries are coming from the famous Dealu Mare wine region, "the land of red wines" as it is called (CH. Pietrosaratii, Crama Ceptura, Domeniile Alexandrion Rhein 1892, Domeniile Blaga, Domeniile Sahateni, La Vie, Octima Vinis and Vitis Metamorfosis), part of the larger Dealurile Munteniei wine region, which is known for its typical warm, dry microclimate and fairly long autumns that favour a slow and thorough ripening of the grapes.

A wine region in which the winemakers also show a consistent concern for vine sustainability and organic wine production.

Add to this, the other 5 wineries which come from such wonderful wine regions as Oltenia (Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea), Moldova (Vinicola Averesti 2020), Transylvania (Jidvei), Dobrogea (Ostrovit) and the Danube Terraces (Domeniile Dropia) and you will realise that the wines on show and offer are covering almost the entire country.

And by the way, not to forget the Vodka and Gin, produced by Prodal 94.

Savour and enjoy!
