An international jury of experts at MUNDUS VINI awarded 43 Grand Gold, 1,685 Gold and 1,294 Silver medals to the best wines of the 2022 Spring Tasting.
Italy came top of the leader board with 5 Grand Gold, 364 Gold and 364 Silver medals. Next came Spain (7 Grand Gold, 362 Gold, 298 Silver) and Portugal (5 Grand Gold, 186 Gold, 123 Silver). Fifth place was taken by France (10 Grand Gold, 173 Gold, 109 Silver) and Germany came sixth (1 Grand Gold, 116 Gold, 91 Silver).
Christian Wolf, Tasting Director and member of the MUNDUS VINI board, looks back at the successful anniversary tasting: "A big thank you goes to all of our international wine experts who made their way to us at the end of February to critically, neutrally and fairly evaluate all of the wines submitted. The wines submitted were impressive, and we have rarely seen such a homogeneous level of quality in the competition."

Awards were also given for the best wine producers in each country (Best Producer) and for the best wines in their category (Best of Show).
During the ProWein trade fair in mid-May, these award winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at the MUNDUS VINI stand, and the certificates will be officially presented by the competition's board of directors.
