The Hawesko Holding, Germany largest specialised wine distributor, has just presented its annual report for 2006. Overall turnover grew by 5.5% to 302.8 million. At 101.2 million, specialised retail accounts for one-third of the total, up 4.4%. Wholesale, in particular
the two importers WeinWolf and Ariyane Abayan, account for 119.6 million, with the group\'s highest accretion at 16.1%. Mail order, however, originally the core operation of the group, showed losses of 5.7% compared to 2005 for a turnover of 81.6 million. The EBIT of the Hawesko Holding remained constant at approximately 18 million Euros.
