VDP Goes to Rotterdam

The Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) helds its first international post-pandemic event in Rotterdam on May 15th, 2023.

Nearly 100 VDP-Wineries will present a selection of their new vintages in Rotterdam. 

"With German wines being as revered as they are in the Netherlands, this is an excellent opportunity to explore the full diversity of our VDP-Estates on-site," the organizers said. "We look forward to welcoming wine enthusiasts and industry experts from around the world to this event. It will serve as a platform to highlight the latest trends and developments in the wine industry."

According to the Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates), 2022 had a positive outcome for its members.

The event aims to expand the reach to the BENELUX region. According to a recent survey among VDP members, the BENELUX region is considered as important, ranking third after Scandinavia and the USA (source VDP). 

The event is scheduled to take place in the Van-Nelle-Fabrik in Rotterdam. PD
