The Italian fine wine marketplace eWibe has launched a "Virtual Wine Advisor" designed to allow even wine novices to create a high-quality fine wine portfolio as an investment. As reported by the WineNews portal, the system is set to rely not only on existing information about the wines but also on live transaction data, analyses, and reports from eWibe. Similar to Liv-Ex, eWibe captures live prices.

The AI aims to help investors not only in creating a portfolio but also in providing extensive support before and after the purchase with further information such as market data and wine knowledge. The system is checked daily by eWibe's consulting and marketing teams under the guidance of wine expert Leonardo Bernasconi.

The "Virtual Wine Advisor" is available not only through eWibe's homepage but also via an app. The app will soon feature a real-time notification system that advises on the best opportunities and timings for buying and selling wines.

"Thanks to the new app and the Personal Wine Advisory Service, investing in wine is becoming increasingly accessible to everyone, even those who are entering this world full of passion and possibilities for the first time," says eWibe CEO Edoardo Maria Lamacchia. Besides the AI, eWibe also offers telephone advice from a sommelier, but only if one chooses the professional subscription. VM
