ProWein has introduced a fresh appearance, characterized by a livelier color palette and a playful font, aimed at embodying dynamism and passion.

Tackling the problems

Faced with a declining wine market and rising prices, ProWein plans to extend its activities beyond the exhibition grounds. According to the organizers, plans are underway to enable more attractive hotel offers and improved logistics. This move may bring hope to the industry for a potential reduction in the currently exorbitant hotel prices during the trade fair.

Inside the exhibition halls, a redesigned layout aims to consolidate the broad range of products and services more efficiently, in other words, the hall layout will be revised again.

What was new in 2024?

By 2024, significant changes were already evident. The innovations included the new "ProSpirits" spirits area, which has been expanded to include a bar and a forum. In addition to classic masterclasses, the trade fair also focused on relevant business topics such as AI and sustainability. New offerings such as the Concept Store, where ideas for POS design are presented, and the Podcast Studio are to be retained in the future.

The upcoming ProWein is scheduled for March 16 to 18, 2025, in Düsseldorf. The trade fair has announced a heightened focus on the markets in the USA, Asia, Benelux, and Scandinavia. PD
